The 3R Pyroylsis and Biochar Group is a Swedish origin innovative technology development/industrial engineering organization, one of the leading pyrolysis technology, biochar and carbon-refinery international knowledge centre. The ZERO EMISSION pyrolysis process innovation started up late 80's and the RTD programmes accelerated after 2002, when the European Union started to priority large scale support the development programme. Over the past 20 years the company has taken up an unique leading intentional role in the RTD and industrial engineering activities in the field of pyrolysis, biochar and animal waste high added value valorization, targeting two main product groups:
BONE MEAL – to – NATURAL FERTILIZER: former foodstuffs of animal origin, such as including high Phosphorous content food grade (category 3 and 2) animal bone meal and low moisture content manure from herbivorous animals; such as poultry, sheep, rabbit, goat, horse. The output products are high quality and high value animal bone char (10,000 t/y) and biochar for wide range of organic farming (natural Phosphorus, NPK fertilizer, biochar) and environmental (adsorbent) applications, recycled nitrogen fertilizer (3,500 t/y) and transport quality bio fuel green energy (6,500 t/y).
PROCESSED ANIMAL PROTEIN – to – LIQUID BIO-FUEL: category 3 and 2 animal waste converted to recycled nitrogen fertilizer and transport quality synfuel - biofuel green energy.
